On August 23, Simrishamn Manufacturing welcomed past employees to their Annual Seniors Visit of the factory. Every year, Simrishamn hosts the seniors with breakfast and an organizational presentation by the plant manager. Afterwards they are taken on a tour of the factory and have the opportunity to greet all their former colleagues before gathering for lunch.
“It’s really fun that there is an interest from our seniors that they want to come back year after year and visit us,” said Muradija Mujkovic, HR Specialist, Simrishamn Manufacturing. “Some of them were employees for over 40 years.”
Not only does this group meet every year at the plant to reconnect they also gather during the holidays to share a festival meal.
This annual event is a great example of the relationships we build and the importance of a strong workplace culture that creates a positive impact on our employees that evolves into connections that can turn into lifetime friendships.
