An annual tradition across Windsor-Essex, Manufacturing Day offers local youth a firsthand look at modern manufacturing careers. For Plasman, continuing our participation in this event is a vital opportunity to showcase our innovative workplace and invest directly in the future workforce of our region.
Demonstrating our commitment to community leadership and youth engagement, three of Plasman’s regional facilities, Windsor Tooling, Windsor 3 Manufacturing, and Tecumseh Manufacturing opened their doors to local high school students across Windsor-Essex. Organized in partnership with Workforce WindsorEssex, the synchronized tours gave students an inside look at how each plant contributes to global automotive production. From witnessing precision injection molding and advanced automation to exploring custom tooling, assembly, and quality assurance, the students gained a holistic view of manufacturing in action.
By coordinating across multiple sites, Plasman highlighted the vast scope of career opportunities available in the region from engineering and robotics programming to materials and operations management, proving to the next generation that world-class industrial innovation is happening right in their backyard.
