Community

Plasman has a long history of partnering with the communities where our team members live and work.
We are called on to support an agenda for children that provides opportunities for them to thrive. From senior leadership to new team members, our employees take an active role in supporting our communities, dedicating themselves to a wide range of charitable service organizations and outreach programs.

Through our corporate partnership program, MVP, we work together to support non-profit, youth-oriented organizations that are focused on creating a safe, healthy, and sustainable future for children and our new leaders of tomorrow.
Our Pillars of Commitment
These efforts support the long-term sustainability of our neighboring areas and develop lifelong relationships. Together with our partners, we take great pride in making a difference and giving to those who support growing our future.

COMMUNITY
Windsor Residence for Young Men
WRYM supports young men 16-24 years of age as they leave homelessness behind to build new lives. They provide a supportive functional family atmosphere, deliver individual counseling, and teach basic life skills to help them integrate into the community and reconnect with extended family or independent living and education and employment.
This year Plasman team members delivered items that were on WRYM’s wish list which included smart TVs, a dining room table, and chairs.
“Due to Plasman and the support of their team, we will move forward with renewed spirit and bolstered confidence,” said Jason Weinberg, Executive Director, Windsor Residence for Young Men. “Being able to enjoy a modern recreational space will make a big difference in each of these young men’s lives.”
CHILDREN
Frank W. Begley Public School
Plasman donated over 1,600 food items that included fruit cups, granola bars, cheese strings, and cookies to our Windsor-Essex community partner Frank W. Begley Public School Nutrition program. These snack and nutritional items are replacing our normal practice of supporting Begley’s Breakfast Program that has been suspended due to the pandemic. Nutritional snacks are available to any/all students who are in need and support their opportunity to learn.
