Plasman Windsor One Manufacturing receives the Champion of Honour award from Ronald McDonald House Charities – SWO

Plasman is excited to announce that Windsor One Manufacturing (W1M) was selected to receive the Champion of Honour award from Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) – SWO.

The RMHC provides comforting and supportive programs and services for families of seriously ill children who require medical care. Across Canada, RMHC’s 34 programs provide families with a sick child with a home to stay at where they can sleep, share meals, do laundry, and connect with other families, making their journey a little easier.

On June 7, representatives of W1M, Josie Burns, HR Manager, and Tehra Gwilt, HR Coordinator, attended the RMHC-SWO 2022 Annual Celebration in London, ON to receive the award.

“We are very honoured to be the recipients this year,” says Burns. “In the last five years, W1M has donated close to 15K. These donations have sponsored the family communication centre and an overnight stay room, restocked their toy closet, and funded the travelling comfort cart (providing snacks for families of children who are in the hospital) since 2018.”
