On Friday, March 22, Plasman Lawrenceburg Manufacturing received the 2024 Hero Kid’s Place award. This award is given to a community partner who has made a significant impact in providing donations towards the programs and resources that combat child abuse.
“Over the past several years, Kid’s Place has been the recipient of Plasman’s corporate partnership program, MVP. This partnership has provided $8,000 worth of food, hygiene items, diapers, and has provided our therapists with sand trays to begin sand tray therapy,” said Charlsi Legendre, M.S. Executive Director, Kid’s Place. “Kid’s Place could not be successful without community partnerships and support, and we are honored to have Plasman join our fight against child abuse.”
Kid’s Place provides services to children and families that have encountered severe child trauma. Last year alone, they provided services to over 500 victims of child abuse in Giles, Lawrence, Maury, and Wayne Counties. All services provided were free of charge to the victims and their families.
