Plasman donates to Frank W. Begley Public School Nutrition Program
On Wednesday, May 25, Plasman donated over 1,600 food items that included fruit cups, granola bars, cheese strings, and cookies to our Windsor-Essex community partner Frank W. Begley Public School Nutrition program. These snack and nutritional items are replacing our normal practice of supporting Begley’s Breakfast Program that has been suspended due to the pandemic. Nutritional snacks are available to any/all students who are in need and support their opportunity to learn.
“Plasman is passionate about partnering with local schools in the cities for which we live and work,” explains Shauna Hatch, Vice President of Human Resources and Global Lead at Plasman. “It’s not just about the food, it’s about supporting children and what they need to grow and be good community members. At Plasman we are all proud to be a partner to Begley.”
Through our corporate partnership program called MVP – Corporate Giving, Fundraising & Participating, we work together to support non-profit, youth-oriented organizations that are focused on creating a safe, healthy, and sustainable future for children and our new leaders of tomorrow. We place great importance on working together as one team across our 29 locations with a global focus in supporting the communities in which we live and work.
