WINDSOR, ON – Automotive and manufacturing leader Plasman, announced Monday, February 9, 2026, the immediate appointment of Sven M. Damm as CEO and President, Plasman Europe. Sven will oversee the European operations of Plasman locations.
Sven joins Plasman with over two decades of international experience in the automotive industry, including CEO and COO roles across Europe, Africa, and Asia. He has led major production networks, managed full P&L responsibility for multi-billion-dollar organizations, and delivered measurable improvements in efficiency, cost optimization, automation, quality, and customer satisfaction. Sven’s background includes successful turnarounds, M&A integrations, and the development of long‑term strategies for growth and operational excellence.
His leadership experience spans Europe, China, and South Africa, and his achievements include identifying and implementing tens of millions in annual savings, building strong OEM partnerships, and delivering sustainable performance improvements across global operations.
Sven will be located in the Europe HQ office in Gothenburg.
