On November 7, Plasman Fort Payne Manufacturing made a monetary donation to their local Optimist Club. The donation will help construct shading structures over the children’s splash pad at the downtown park. This marks Plasman’s fifth year as a community partner with the Fort Payne Optimist Club.
The Fort Payne Optimist Club appreciates the continuous support from Plasman with our fundraisers and events, and the annual donation that they give to help us fund our community projects that benefit the children here,” said Jami Posey, Secretary/Treasurer, Fort Payne Optimist Club. “It is rewarding to see the kids enjoying the things that we have put in place for them, and we couldn’t do it without our partnership with Plasman.”
Sandy Goss, Human Resource Generalist and an MVP ambassador, presented the cheque with fellow ambassadors to Brian Baine, Mayor of Fort Payne, Alabama.
“We started this partnership about 5 year ago with Plasman and I think it’s a great thing for the community. With this donation the Optimist Club is able to carry out the mission of ‘Bringing Out the Best in our Children,” said Brain Baine, Mayor of Fort Payne. ” We really want to thank Plasman for supporting the Optimist Club and this community.”
