In the journey towards independence, the “basics” are often the most significant hurdles. It’s hard to build a future when you don’t have a reliable place to store a week’s worth of groceries or a dedicated space to keep your belongings.
That is why we are incredibly proud to announce Plasman’s recent donation to the Windsor Residence for Young Men (WRYM). This wasn’t just a delivery; it was a hands-on effort led by our MVP Ambassadors from Windsor 1 Manufacturing, Windsor 3 Manufacturing, Windsor Tooling, and Global Headquarters, who personally handled the delivery.
To help support WRYM’s mission of transitioning young men from homelessness to self-reliance, Plasman donated:
- One Industrial-Grade Refrigerator: A high-capacity unit to ensure the residence can store fresh, nutritious food for all its occupants.
Ten 5-Drawer Dressers: Providing each young man with a sense of ownership, organization, and dignity within their personal living space.

Why This Matters
For the young men at WRYM, many of whom are recovering from precarious housing situations, stability is built through small, consistent victories.

The new industrial refrigerator is equally vital. In a communal living environment, food security is the backbone of health. This upgrade allows the staff and residents to prepare larger, healthier meals and reduce food waste, ensuring that no one goes to bed hungry while they focus on their education or job searches.
