On Wednesday, March 8, Plasman continued its ongoing partnership with Windsor Residence for Young Men (WRYM) by donating a digital Smart Board. WRYM teaches life skills to homeless youth in their onsite classroom through their Youth Independence Program, which qualifies as a high school credit for those who complete the program. This interactive board will be a big asset to teaching their lessons each day to help record discussions and general teaching requirements.
WRYM supports young men 16-24 years of age as they leave homelessness behind to build new lives. They provide a supportive functional family atmosphere, deliver individual counseling, and teach basic life skills to help them integrate into the community and reconnect with extended family or independent living and education and employment.
