Recently, Plasman Fort Payne Manufacturing took the opportunity to host a Relay for Life Day and celebrate their employees who are cancer survivors. Themed “Knock Cancer Outta the Park”, Fort Payne team members were served hot dogs, potato chips, soda, and cracker jacks as they participated on this special day.
During this event Greg Seymour, Regional General Manager, Plasman and team members were joined by Fort Payne Mayor Brian Bain in presenting a cheque in the amount of $10,000 to the American Cancer Society (ACS). ACS is a nationwide voluntary health organization that is dedicated to helping people faced with cancer and strive on a mission to eliminating cancer through research.
“I’m very proud of our team for the commitment each employee has made in giving back to our community,” explained Greg. “Even during the most trying of times, the Alabama team continues to portray great community spirit, speaking volumes toward our employees’ character. They are truly MVPs!”
