Plasman is pleased to announce and welcome John Thelen as Vice President, Engineering Exterior Trim.
As a member of the North American Executive Team, John’s leadership and knowledge will play a key part in setting the longer-term strategic direction for product and engineering at Plasman. He will champion integrating these strategies into our sales initiatives and launch; as well as oversee the ongoing daily management of all corporate based engineering departments within the entire exterior trim organization.
John is a well-known figure in the automotive industry with 30 years of experience. The first 13 years of his career was spent in various capacities at General Motors and Decoma where he was instrumental in the design an engineering of programs. John most recently held the position of Vice President of Engineering with Magna Exteriors.
In addition, John has extensive knowledge of our customers and exterior trim products with an impressive track record of reducing development costs and increasing speed to market with both new and established product lines. These experiences, and a love of leading high performing engineering teams makes him an ideal fit for this important position at Plasman.
