At Plasman we know adversity does not build character, it reveals it. The characteristics we see in the Plasman team every day are the foundation that we are built on. We are committed, focused, strong, communicative, and above all lead with integrity. We do all of this while balancing personal needs with the long-term health and viability of our company.
As a company we have also evaluated our priorities to focus on the needs of our team members and community during this critical time. We have partnered with government agencies to identify ways to utilize our capabilities to combat the virus and have already responded with action. Right now, we are working together with General Motors to support the making of parts in order to build much needed ventilators. We’ve dedicated resources and expertise to the development of face shields to protect people from exposure to the virus. We have responded locally to needs by donating protective goggles, batteries, and extra respirators to hospitals and children’s aid societies. And this week, we have partnered with one of our long-term suppliers to donate 2500 masks to the health care industry.
Dave Wiskel, Plasman’s President and CEO, said answering the call to assist was an easy decision, “We are humbled by the opportunity to help. The innovation of 3D printing allows for the capability to produce masks, shields and other demands during this time. Through our talented team of professionals, Plasman is committed to contributing our extra time, resources and effort toward the fight against COVID-19.”
