On Wednesday, June 15, Plasman was represented by our MVP ambassadors Tony Romanello, John Stachow, Tom Songal, and Jacob Bezaire from Windsor Tooling and Katie Cooper and Marina Cenic from Tecumseh Manufacturing. The dedicated team helped deliver Plasman’s donation of over 75 items that included art and craft supplies, reading books, sporting equipment and bicycles to our Windsor-Essex partner Maryvale.
“We are very fortunate to have caring dedicated people within our workforce and community,” said Tony Romanello, VP of Tooling, Plasman. “It is very important for us to give back to our local community and it makes me proud to be a part of such a great organization.”
Maryvale is a Children’s Mental Health Treatment Centre in Windsor, Ontario where adolescents experiencing emotional, psychological, and mental distress can receive therapy and assistance. Plasman has a long history of partnering with the communities in which we live, and work and Maryvale is just one of many that help provide opportunities for children to grow and thrive.
Upon receiving the donation, Jenny Letink, Executive Director, Maryvale was overjoyed by the generosity and partnership that Plasman has provided. “On behalf of the youth and staff of Maryvale we sincerely thank the entire team at Plasman for their most generous donation. Through your collective kindness, three of our youth will be riding a new bike, one will be enjoying himself fishing, and all of our youth in our programs will be creating new artwork, reading all those great books, or enjoying the many outdoor sporting activities you donated. You sure made a lot of kids smile and we are truly overwhelmed by the generosity of your team.”
