Plasman is very pleased to welcome Rod Alward as President, North America effective Monday, November 13th, 2023.
Rod is a veteran leader in the automotive market with over 30 years of leadership experience. Rod is excited to join the Plasman team, and to learn more about our business, our products, and most importantly, our people and company culture.
Rod has most recently held positions as VP, Global Sales and VP, Quality for Flex-N-Gate. Prior to this, Rod held executive leadership positions with Plastic Omnium as VP, Global Quality & Safety and VP, Sales & Program Management. Rod has further served as Plant Director of Plastic Omnium’s Huron Township facility.
As President, North America, Rod’s primary responsibilities will be the development and execution of strategic goals for Plasman’s North American business and supporting our teams in furthering Plasman’s mission as a world-class automotive supplier.
Rod holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University. Rod lives in Lasalle, Ontario with his family and will be seated at the Global HQ Office in Windsor.
