Plasman announces VP, Sustainability & Supply Chain

Plasman is pleased to announce that Anna Widerburg has been appointed to VP, Sustainability & Supply Chain.

Plasman has come a long way since we first began our Sustainability journey, and we understand that continued dedication and hard work towards fulfilling our ambitions remain. We are committed to sustainable operating and manufacturing initiatives throughout our global operations and believe it will be a key success factor for the Company.

There will be an increased focus on Sustainability at Plasman in coming months specifically through the supply chain, that includes raw material impact, recycling of material, and purchasing of goods that we use in our production processes. It is important that we bolster the supply chain to the best of our ability as it is vital to our production capabilities and our ability to deliver on time. We know there are challenges ahead in this area with significant inflation pressure that we need to manage. Therefore, we will combine efforts of Sustainability and Supply Chain within our organization.

It is with great pleasure I congratulate Anna Widerberg on her newly expanded position, where she will lead both sustainability globally and supply chain for Europe. During her time at Plasman, Anna’s work has made a significant impact in our strategy for sustainability. Additionally, and most recent, Anna’s extensive experience and knowledge was brought forward by her ability to manage and integrate these global efforts alongside overseeing the purchasing team in Europe.
