Today, Plasman MVP ambassadors Sammie Jo Ellis and Rob McMaster from our Lawrenceburg Manufacturing location and Arnau Vilalta, Plasman COO, donated several items of non-perishable food items, hygiene products, school supplies and gift cards to our Lawrenceburg community partner A Kid’s Place.
A Kid’s Place Child Advocacy Center provide services to children and families when there are allegations of severe child abuse, including sexual and severe physical abuse, but also when children have witnessed acts of family violence in the 22nd Judicial District, which includes Lawrence, Giles, Wayne, and Maury counties in Southern Middle Tennessee.
“We were overwhelmed at the generosity shown by Plasman to provide for the needs of families in crisis due to allegations of severe child abuse. The effect of child abuse looks different for each family we serve. Some families are struggling to get their child to the services provided by Kid’s Place, or don’t know where their next meal will come from. Sometimes their lives are turned upside down because they now have to leave their homes because of the abuse. One of our goals is to provide stability to these families in crisis. The donation of gas cards, food cards, hygiene items, school supplies, and numerous items from the Kid’s Place Amazon Wish List ensure that we carry out our mission of providing hope, help, and healing to the families we serve. We look forward to growing this new partnership with Plasman and the MVP program,” said Charlsi Legendre, Executive Director of Kid’s Place.
