Gent Manufacturing receives The Voka Charter Sustainable Entrepreneurship Acknowledgment

Plasman, a leading global manufacturer in automotive surface finishing solutions, announced that its Gent Manufacturing facility in Belgium received the Voka Charter Sustainable Entrepreneurship (VCDO) acknowledgment for 2021. This marks Gent’s 16th consecutive recognition of the VCDO. The first 11 acknowledgments were focused on the environment and the last five years have expanded to sustainability and are linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The VCDO is an annual award that certifies that the company took significant steps towards the realization of corporate sustainability.  The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals constitute the universal framework in this regard.

“I am delighted for the sustainability work and initiatives that are on-going at all our sites,” explained Anna Widerberg, Director Sustainability, Plasman. “Today, we are especially proud of the Gent Manufacturing team members as they continue to receive external acknowledgement of their challenging work and conscious efforts to building a more sustainable future as every step counts!”

Plasman would like to thank all Gent Manufacturing team members for their continuous commitment to our sustainability efforts as we continue to drive towards our environmental commitment of a climate-neutral future. Your dedication to creating a better tomorrow as One Driving Force is motivationally inspiring.
