Cleveland Manufacturing MVP ambassadors donate to Providence House

Recently, Plasman MVP ambassadors from Cleveland Manufacturing and Global Headquarters donated over 150 much needed items to a local community partner, Providence House.

Providence House is a Family Preservation Crisis Nursery that has helped keep more than 15,000 kids safe and families together across Northeast Ohio since 1981, embracing them with support to enhance stability that strengthens communities.

They provide free, voluntary, 24/7 emergency shelter to children, newborn through age 12, whose families are experiencing crises such as homelessness, domestic violence, sobriety, mental health, or medical challenges. Providence House is a safe, licensed, homelike environment that gives parents and guardians peace of mind knowing their children remain in their custody and are receiving loving care despite their temporary separation.

While their children stay with Providence House, parents and guardians engage with the Social Work Team to address the challenges they’re facing through Family Preservation Services, including individualized counseling, parenting education, trauma services, case management, and connections to more than 130 community partner agencies to provide support and build a strong foundation for their family’s future.

In the last five years, 99% of the families with Providence House have stayed together after engaging in their services.

“It was a genuine pleasure to collaborate with an esteemed organization like Providence House.,” said Tim Atkas, General Manager, Plasman Cleveland Manufacturing. “The work they do for young children in need is nothing short of extraordinary. I am incredibly proud of the Plasman team and our significant contribution to this noble cause. It’s truly remarkable to witness how a vision from 1981 has evolved into such an impactful institution.”

The items donated included many hygiene products, cough and cold syrups, children’s vitamins, toys, clothing, arts and crafts, and much more! These items will help Providence House continue to provide a holistic, integrated program focused on family preservation and stability.

“Providence House is truly grateful to Plasman for its incredible donation of clothes, shoes, books, toys, and essential items that we need to support the loving care we provide to children in crisis,” said Natalie A. Leek, President and CEO, Providence House. “Your gifts for our children will help us fulfill our mission of keeping kids safe and families together. It means so much to us that the Plasman MVP Program is helping make such an important difference in the lives of our community’s children.”
