Plasman is proud to announce that Cleveland Manufacturing has achieved a significant safety milestone—three years of no lost-time injuries. Cleveland met this milestone on June 16, 2026.
Safety at Plasman is driven through teamwork and built through the everyday actions and mindset of our employees. This achievement has been made possible through consistent leadership support, employee engagement, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing safety concerns.

At Cleveland Manufacturing, their safety culture is driven through regular communication, daily awareness, near-miss reporting, 6S practices, training, a commitment to Plasman’s 4 Safety Pillars and 5 Non-Negotiables, and ongoing follow-up on safety observations to reinforce safe behaviors and ownership. Employees are empowered to take responsibility for their own safety while also looking out for each other.
“I was here for the years that we had numerous recordables and lost time incidents each year,” said Vickie Chapman, Environmental Health & Safety Specialist, Cleveland Manufacturing. “With time and determination on everyone’s part, safety as the top priority became the forefront message and effort we all share and now celebrate!”
Over the past three years, it has been the daily habits and behaviors of every team member that have played a pivotal role in creating and maintaining a safe work environment. Everyone has consistently demonstrated what it means to put safety first in everything they do, further supporting a safety culture as a core priority of Plasman’s operations.
